This video details how to self treat hip pain that is often diagnosed as hip bursitis, arthritis, joint degeneration etc. by treating the TFL muscle that refers pain deep into the hip joint.

Also covered is the direct antagonist to TFL, adductor magnus. This muscle is responsible for much medial thigh pain, groin pain, "pulled groin" and medial knee pain.

The self treatments demonstrated involve ball compression, modified yoga poses for stretch (Anjayanasana, Balasana) and applied vibration during stretch.
